A small piece of information I came across today while visiting a colleague…. About 25 years ago, the government moved an entire slum dwelling in Bandra to Jogeshwari, providing only land and not housing. Since then, this spot in Jogeshwari East has come to be known as the Bandra Plot. So at Jogeshwari station when you hear rickshaw drivers calling out ‘Bandra’, you’ll know why!
